Programme Overview
A taste for the wild side? At UCOL you will discover the rich rewards of working with animals. Our graduates have been approved to work in a BESTPracticeTM accredited veterinary clinic. This Diploma opens the door to a broad range of animal health careers - from vet clinics, zoos, animal shelters, pet shops, wildlife parks, laboratories to agricultural and animal health sales. At UCOL you get both fantastic learning support – with a ratio of two students to one lecturer for clinical rotation - and real life experience in a vet clinic. In addition, each year you receive real life experience with placement in a vet clinic for 5-7 weeks. The programme may be studied full-time in two years, part-time, or by distance learning, providing an opportunity to up-skill for those working in the industry desiring a qualification.
Distance Learning options are also available. Click here to find out more.
