Programme Overview
Re-engage your brain with the Certificate in Science & Health. This programme is an excellent way to get your brain in top shape for a health or science career if you’ve been away from study or you didn’t take biology, chemistry or physics at school. When you graduate from this programme you’ll have a firm foundation to go on to study in nursing, vet nursing, medical imaging (x-ray) and science which are all available here at UCOL. (Physics is offered at the PN campus - students who wish to apply for Medical Imaging Technology should only enrol in this programme through the PN campus).

You should bring your own pens and paper although many classes also provide manuals to work through. A scientific calculator is important for some subjects. You need to have covered shoes for lab classes.
You pay for your own personal printing on campus, plus personal stationery, pens, computer discs, calculators, covered shoes for laboratory work etc.
As the range of textbooks required is varied, the cost of textbooks is not included in the course fee.
