Academic Dress
Members of the official and academic procession wear the academic dress of
the awarding institution at which they were awarded their highest degree.
Those graduating at UCOL wear the following academic regalia:

Bachelor Degrees Cambridge Black Gown with the following hood:
Applied Science (MIT) | Black Hood, Cobalt Blue Lining
Applied Visual Imaging (BAVI) | Black Hood, White Lining
Computer Graphic Design | Black Hood, Kenya Red Lining
Fashion Design | Black Hood, Pink Lining
Fine Arts | Black Hood, Sea Green Lining
Exercise and Sport Science | Black Hood, Orange Lining
Information & Communications Technology | Black Hood, Burgundy Lining
Nursing | Dark Green Hood, Jade Lining
Bachelor with Honours Cambridge Gown with the following hood:

Masters Degree Cambridge Masters Gown with the following hood:

Maori Graduands: A Korowai may be worn by Maori staff and graduands over the Cambridge Gown. For degree Graduands the hood is displayed over the top of the cloak.
Forms for academic dress hire are included in the Graduation Packs sent out to students who have applied to graduate.
