Pattillo Scholarship exhibition
05 October 2012
The Pattillo Scholarship will be awarded to a current student of the Quay School of the Arts, Whanganui UCOL, who is enrolled in the Bachelor of Fine Arts or the Diploma of Glass Design and Production. The work can be from any art specialisation - but entries need to have a thinking link between the work and the theme of sculpting chaos. Entries must not have been previously exhibited or entered into a competition.
An official entry form is available through the Quay School of the Arts. All entries will go through a selection process. Submission of work does not ensure exhibition. The announcement of the scholarship is made at a special function.
The winner will receive a scholarship prize of $7,500 to support further learning, a year's mentoring at the conclusion of their study, and a commemorative medal crafted by nationally recognised jewellery artist, Frances Stachl.
