The Quay School of the Arts and the Wanganui Glass School is where imagination and knowledge, talent and technique, discipline and desire unite in one ‘glass’ act.

UCOL is the only tertiary institute in NZ that offers this internationally recognised programme.* This three year diploma, taught at Wanganui’s Glass School, is an intense educational programme designed to develop your skills and technical abilities to create distinctive contemporary glass art. Glass School students enjoy dedicated facilities

designed for hot, warm and cold glass production. Glass School graduates are successful as artists both nationally and internationally.

* With the Wanganui District Council’s support, UCOL will continue to offer the Diploma in Glass Design and Production Level 6.
