This programme contributes to the improvement of the foundation skills (literacy and numeracy) of adult learners in Aotearoa New Zealand. It is a professional qualification for adult literacy and numeracy educator competence.
 
This qualification is ideal for adult educators who are looking to acquire the skills and strategies to embed literacy and numeracy in their training or education programmes. It is particularly relevant for adult educators currently teaching on a programme in their own field or who have an adult training/coaching role in industry or the community.
 
Delivery is a blend of 6 one-day workshops, online learning, study groups and work-based projects.
