The one year Graduate Diploma in Fine Arts will enable you to gain skills, techniques
and knowledge in either glass*, painting, printmaking, photography or sculpture and
to examine theories underlying contemporary art practice.
Career opportunities include studio art, arts management, museum practice,
specialist publishing and printing and teaching specialist fine arts subjects for
qualified secondary and primary school teachers.

33 academic weeks – and the timetabling of study depends on the studio major chosen.
Theory papers are generally Monday or Tuesday 900am -3.00pm.
Studio Year 2 contact/class time with the tutor is 5 hours.
Year 3, 4-5 hours contact/class time on a different day of the week Wednesday – Friday 9.00am - 3.00pm.
