This electrical and electronics qualification is for people who want to gain the knowledge and skills needed to be engineering technicians in a wide range of cutting edge, high-tech industries.

UCOL offers the New Zealand Diploma in Engineering (Electrical Engineering) Level 6 the newest Technician Engineering qualification available in New Zealand.

This qualification is also supported by the Institution of Professional Engineers New Zealand (IPENZ). This NZ Diploma will take time off an engineering Degree should you wish to continue onto further study, plus it aligns with the Dublin Accord to give you international recognition. There are three specialisations in the Diploma - Civil, Mechanical and Electrical. Currently only the Electrical is on offer at UCOL, with the other two available in the near future. This New Zealand qualification opens up fantastic job opportunities both in New Zealand and overseas in the electrical and power industries so enrol now!
