Programme Overview


An exciting new degree is available at UCOL Whanganui campus.  This comprehensive three-year Bachelor of Design and Arts degree blends creativity and contemporary design- where time honoured technique meets cutting edge technology. 


The Bachelor of Design and Arts has three majors: Visual Arts, Graphic Design, and Textiles/Fashion Design which will be delivered by specialist staff.

The Bachelor of Design and Arts replaces the Bachelor of Fashion and Bachelor of Fine Arts degrees previously offered at UCOL.

Classes are generally between the hours of 9.00am - 4.00pm Monday - Friday.
Allow 20 hours in class and an additional 20 hours lecturer-directed learning each.
