Programme Overview
Overview
Interested in networks and installation, programming, user support, software testing and engineering, computer training, systems analysis, database development and information systems? If so, apply for the Bachelor of Information and Communications Technology (Applied).
This degree will give you the ICT skills so desperately needed by the industry. The difference UCOL’s ICT degree has over others is its “applied” nature, meaning for every two hour lecture there is a two hour practical to follow. Plus, with a dedicated software and hardware laboratory, learning Cisco networks and the completion of a large industry based project in your third year, you leave UCOL very employable, with work ready skills wanted by the industry.
This programme has the following exit points: Diploma in Information and Communications Technology (Applied) Level 5 or 6 and Certificate in Computer Networks Level 6.
