Our staff are involved in mental health support work, supported employment and Whanganui Reo qualifications. They are actively connected with many related organisations and often attend forums such as:
- The Mental Health and Addictions Advisory Board to the District Health Board
- Pathways, Hinengaro Hauora, Whanganui Community Living Trust, Broadview, MIST, and Alcohol and other Drug services (providers of services)
- Open Polytech and Whitireia tutors for peer review of programmes
- Mental Health Nurses Forums at DHB
- Practice Nurse forum at PHO
In addition our staff:
- Provide professional supervision for a manager of a disability service
- Work in consumer run services
- Belong to the NZ College of Mental Health Nurses
