Faculty of Health Science
Welcome to the Faculty of Health Science at UCOL
Our faculty offers a diverse range of vocational education from pre-employment certificate to undergraduate degree courses.
The faculty is organised into two schools and offers programmes on all three UCOL campuses. In addition we offer our Bachelor of Nursing programme at Gisborne in collaboration with Tairawhiti Polytechnic.
The faculty is characterised by:

- The emphasis given to clinical and practical experience as an integral part of the learning experience
Our programmes combine strong theoretical education and hands-on application, with a strong emphasis on the applied aspects of vocational education. Our graduates have an excellent reputation with employers and industry.
