We are looking for an experienced office administrator who has a talent for juggling priorities while impressing us with reasonably advanced computer skills. 

 

You must be able to work with a sense of humour and cope with high expectations about accuracy and taking initiative.  We guarantee to keep you busy with plenty of challenges.

 

You will support three directors covering strategic policy and research, business development and communications.  Position is up to 0.7 full time equivalent.  Hours / days of work are flexible.

Office Administrator

 

Administrator Strategy Team

Location:

Palmerston North

 

Purpose Statement:

To provide support to three Directors covering strategic policy and research, business development and communications.

 

Responsible To:

Director Strategic Policy and Research

 

Key Accountability Areas:

  • Administration e.g., office administration, diary management, mail, bookings, purchase orders, organising external forums
  • Research assistance, e.g. data input
  • Computer skills, e.g. expertise in Microsoft word, excel, powerpoint, outlook, publisher
  • Managing documents and databases, e.g. assist in preparation of reports and newsletters, database maintenance

Qualifications:

 

 

Experience:

High level of computer skills
Previous office experience working with senior managers

Good written, oral and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail
Organising self and others
