Ambitions Training Restaurant
Ambitions is UCOL Palmerston North's training restaurant. Our trainee chefs prepare and cook delicious food, served in the restaurant by our hospitality students. You can enjoy a unique dining experience that allows you to sample a sophisticated menu while participating in the training of our future cookery and hospitality professionals.
Location
Ambitions Training Restaurant is located on the ground floor of block 9, 23-41 Queen Street, Palmerston North.
Opening Hours for Lunch
We are open for lunch in semester 1 2010 from 9 March - 18 March, 30 March - 1 April, 20 April - 29 April, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays only from 11.45 am to 1.15pm (last booking).
Semester 2: 17-19 Aug, 31 Aug - 30 Sep
Opening Hours for Dinner
We are open for dinner in semester 1 2010 from 11 May - 17 June, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays. (Closed during holidays). We are fully licensed – no BYO permitted. Bookings are essential. We open at 6.00 pm - 7.30 (last booking) three courses for $30.
Semester 2: 12 Oct - 18 Nov
Who can come?
Ambitions is open to members of the public. However we recommend that you make a reservation on (06) 952 7001 extension 70902 during the day or after 4.30pm (06) 952 7027.
Group Bookings
Group bookings are welcome but please book in advance to avoid disappointment. From time to time you may be asked to sit at smaller tables due to assessment requirements.
Payment
We accept cash, EFTPOS, Visa, MasterCard or official Ambitions Gift Vouchers.
Wheelchair Access
We are wheelchair friendly.
Car Parking
Paid parking is available along Queen Street. After 5.30pm parking is available in the UCOL car park adjacent to Ambitions.
Gift Vouchers
Ambitions Gift Vouchers are available.
