UCOL @ Wairarapa is based in the appealing town of Masterton and is set amidst attractive park-like grounds.
The well resourced campus is made up of a number of single storey buildings on the outskirts of the town’s shopping precinct. Mature trees, streams and plenty of green grass provide a peaceful setting in which to study. The campus hosts a wharenui, or meeting place, available to local people.
Students and staff at the campus create a close knit community – lecturers are readily accessible to advise and help. Facilities include a newly renovated Student Hub or common room where students can network, socialise and relax. The Hub is adjacent to the cafeteria where the famous Mollie prepares and serves food.
UCOL's Masterton campus is the Wairarapa's focus for tertiary training and education. UCOL makes a valuable contribution to this growing horticultural, viticultural, farming, tourism and lifestyle centre.
