Palmerston North Scholarships
Palmerston North currently has nine scholarships available for students. One, the Graduate Women Award, is open to all UCOL students on all three campuses. Application forms are individualised for each scholarship. Each scholarship has a given criteria and is assessed accordingly.
Scholarships listed here also apply for those studying at the UCOL satellite campus in Gisborne.
The High Achievers Awards and the Andrew Cliff Award are driven by staff nomination.
Application forms can be requested from ScholarshipPN@ucol.ac.nz or picked up at Hub Central, Block 6, Palmerston North Campus.
The selection of a recipient is made by a panel of four people consisting of: a member of the Support Services staff, a lecturing staff member, an administrative staff member and a representative from the Students' Association.
An award ceremony is held at the end of each year to acknowledge successful students. The students receive the money when the scholarship is on offer and don't have to wait until the end of the year.
