The Learning Services staff provide academic support for all students enrolled at UCOL, across all three campuses.

The Learning Services team consists of academic counsellors and specialist tutors who are available to assist students with coursework and study, at all levels.

Support is offered in a wide variety of areas, on a “one-to-one” or “small group” basis and tailored to meet individual needs.

Assistance provided includes:

• Writing - Assignments, Essays, Reports and Curriculum Vitae.
• Reading - Understanding and Choosing main points (summarising).
• Speaking - Conversation, Articulation and Presentations.
• Science - Anatomy, Physiology, Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
• Mathematics - All levels of existing courses.
• Study Skills - Goal setting, Time management and Planning

Focus is placed on teaching strategies and skills, necessary for personal improvement, success and independence.
