Steve Sorsby 
Since joining UCOL in 1982 as a Lecturer in Electronics and Computing Steve has been seconded to a variety of roles within the organisation. These have included Director of Corporate Services, Project Manager on several major building works, Wairarapa Integration Manager and Acting Dean of Science and Technology. When not on secondment Steve occupies the role of Director of Information Systems and Technology.
Prior to joining UCOL Steve worked in telecommunications, manufacturing and research in the UK. He has a Bachelor of Arts from the Open University and a Post Graduate Diploma from Unitec.
Steve is a keen believer in the effective use of technology to transform education and learning and continues to enthusiastically promote new technologies where appropriate.
