A highlight of the UCOL calendar is commemorating the achievements of our students at Graduation. Everyone who is involved in our students' study journey - from lecturers to whānau, gather together for what is a formal and enjoyable occasion.
This Graduation event is for Certificate graduates.
Proceedings
Graduates must must attend registration in
academic dress between 11am - 12pm at the UCOL Atrium.
At 12:45pm the procession of graduates from UCOL to Regent on Broadway will begin.
The official Graduation Ceremony at Regent on Broadway is at 1pm, which lasts for approximately one and a half hours.
This is followed by a special Graduation procession up Broadway Avenue back to UCOL (weather permitting). The procession will finish at the UCOL Atrium for students to enjoy some light refreshments and socialising with whānau, friends and of course their favourite UCOL lecturers.
Photography
Students and guests are welcome to take photos and videos during the ceremony.
Kevin Bills Photography will be taking official photos at the ceremony to capture the moment you receive your award, as well as portrait packages in the UCOL Atrium.
Tickets
Tickets to attend graduation are free. Graduates can bring along a maximum of four guests to their ceremony. Special arrangements can be made for additional guests. Seating is on a first come, best seated basis.
