Whanganui UCOL’s Creative Programmes which include Fashion, Fine Arts and Graphic Design will come out to play during their end of year shows over the next two months.

Whanganui UCOL's Creative Programmes which include Fashion, Fine Arts and Graphic Design will come out to play during their end of year shows over the next two months. It is the final year of the Bachelor of Fashion and the Bachelor of Fine Arts, and Whanganui UCOL is excited to celebrate with them at their end-of-year shows and exhibitions.

The Bachelor of Fine Arts end-of-year exhibition Exit, features work from the final cohort with a range of media including painting, glass, printmaking, sculpture (video) and photography. The exhibition will open on 21 November at 5.30pm and run through until 29 November in the Edith Gallery and C1.09 on the Whanganui UCOL campus. Viewing times are from 10.00am-3.00pm.

The highly anticipated Bachelor of Fashion show, Prelude will be held at the Sarjeant Gallery at 8.00pm on 4 December. Entry to this event is by invitation only.

The Whanganui Regional Museum is currently hosting a student exhibition entitled Back in the Box which showcases an intriguing mix of work in a wide range of media by Whanganui UCOL Art and Design Students. This exhibition will run through to March 2016.

The Certificate in Art and Design (CAD) exhibition titled cirCADian rhythm will open on the 30th November with viewing 1-3 December in Whanganui UCOL's B block, room 1.02. Viewing times are from 10.00am-3.00pm daily.

The third year of the Bachelor of Computer Graphic Design and the Graduate Diploma in Animation programmes will be showing their works in an exhibition titled in the process of becoming. Opening 5.30pm on 27 November, with viewing from 28 November to 3 December, 10.00am-4.00pm in the Atrium at Whanganui UCOL.

To celebrate their diverse backgrounds, the Bachelor of Computer Graphic Design (Honours) and the Postgraduate Diploma in Computer Graphic Design students will be demonstrating their talents in an exhibition titled Accént. Opening 5.30pm, 27 November with viewing from 28 November-3 December from 10.00am-4.00pm in the Atrium at Whanganui UCOL.
