The kaimahi (staff) of UCOL Te Pūkenga are extending our congratulations to Executive Director, Dr Linda Sissons, who has been appointed as the Chief Advisor Portfolio Strategy for Te Pūkenga.
Dr Sissons joined UCOL in May 2020 as Chief of Operations, becoming Chief Executive in March 2021. She will commence her new fixed-term project role, based in Wellington, in January 2023.
“It has been a privilege to be part of the UCOL whānau for the past two and a half years,” says Linda.
“UCOL has led the sector in various ways, especially in our collaborative partnerships with business and industry. It’s really hard to leave, however, I’m pleased that I can contribute to the future success of Te Pūkenga.”
The role will work to support the Deputy Chief Executive Academic Centre and Learning Systems.
Among the priorities for the position of Chief Advisor include planning the future shape of the programme portfolio for Te Pukenga and how delivery methods can evolve to meet future needs.
Brian Trott, UCOL’s current Chief Financial Officer, will be seconded to the role of Business Division Lead from 1 January 2023.
