With UCOL’s Certificate in Business Studies, you gain two qualifications for the effort of achieving one.

Upon successful completion of the eight specific papers in this business course, you’ll also earn the New Zealand Institute of Management’s Certificate in Management Level 4.

In total, there are twelve papers that will provide you with two outstanding qualifications.

The New Zealand Institute of Management (NZIM) provides an award each year at graduation for the highest achieving business studies student.

Domestic Entry Requirements

Open entry.

Students who do not have proven success in studying via online or distance delivery are restricted to a single course in their first enrolment in online study unless approved otherwise by the Associate Head of School. If successful in their course they will be able to enrol in up to three courses per intake in the future.

It is noted that a number of students in this programme are at secondary school and some schools have proven support in place for their students which result in their success. It may be appropriate for students from these schools to enrol in more than one course.

International Entry Requirements

English Proficiency Entry Requirements:
Minimum entry for international students of IELTS (or equivalent) General or Academic Level 5.5 with no band lower than 5. IELTS scores must be taken from a single IELTS Test Report Form (i.e. combining scores from more than one test is not permissible).

Advice & Guidance

Good basic English skills and previous employment or tertiary experience may help students achieve the programme outcomes. Consistent attendance is also recommended.

This programme incorporates the NZIM Certificate in Management.
