Duration: Flexible days and times to complete 80 hours of learning.

Palmerston North
Monday - Friday 9am - 12pm
Monday and Tuesday 5pm - 7pm

Whanganui
Tuesday and Wednesday 9am - 11am, 5pm - 7pm

Wairarapa
Monday 4pm - 6pm
Wednesday 11am - 1pm
Friday 12pm - 1pm

  • How to sign in or log in
  • How to use a mouse and keyboard
  • Where and how to start programmes, apps and applications
  • How to move around and between programmes and apps on a Windows desktop
  • File management
  • Word, Internet Explorer, email, Excel, PowerPoint and Publisher
  • Printing

Internet Explorer

  • Understand the Internet and its origins
  • Learn Internet related terms such as browsers, hyperlinks, search engines, URLs
  • Basic search techniques
  • Social media

Email

  • Sending and receiving messages
  • Sending attachments
  • Setting up email accounts
  • Auto signature
  • Message options
