This course introduces you to a career pathway into civil engineering works. You will understand the health and safety requirements and gain the practical skills to work on infrastructure sites.

 Domestic Entry Requirements

For year 11 - 13 secondary school students  who are NZ Citizens, permanent residents or students with an applicable visa that allows them to be enrolled in a secondary school).

Students must be self-motivated and ready to learn.

Applications are to be received from participating schools.

Costs
Fees-free for students. Upon successful application your school will pay UCOL a fee.

Additional Requirements
Students will need to bring pen and paper to take notes and are required to wear steel capped boots for practical training sessions.

There are no additional costs associated with this programme. Simply, bring a pen, paper and your lunch each week.
