International Accreditations and Memberships

The following are the UCOL Te Pūkenga international accreditations and memberships.


International Association of Universities (IAU)

UCOL Te Pūkenga has taken a step forward on the international stage by being accepted into the International Association of Universities (IAU).  The IAU was founded in 1950 and brings together institutions and organisations from over 120 countries for reflection and action on common concerns and collaborates with various international, regional and national bodies active in higher education. Currently, the IAU has over 650 world-renowned Universities and Organisations are members of the organisation.   UCOL Te Pūkenga is one of only two Institutes of Technology and Polytechnics in New Zealand to be a member.


World Federation of Colleges and Polytechnics

UCOL Te Pūkenga is a proud member of the World Federation of Colleges and Polytechnics.

The Dublin Accord

Graduates of the UCOL Te Pūkenga New Zealand Diploma in Engineering are eligible to apply to certification as an Engineering Technologist in New Zealand and in Dublin Accord recognised countries - Australia, Canada, Ireland, Korea, South Africa, United Kingdom and the United States.
