 Learning Facilities

The UCOL STAR courses may be delivered on any of the UCOL campuses and/or offsite locations as appropriate.

 Domestic Entry Requirements

For year 11 - 13 secondary school learners (NZ Citizens, permanent residents or learners with an applicable visa allowing them to be enrolled in a secondary school).

Applications are to be received from participating schools.

The UCOL STAR courses are designed for secondary learners seeking to explore their career options while still in school. 

How to apply
If you're interested in applying for any of the UCOL STAR courses, talk to your careers advisor at school. Application is arranged in partnership with your parents/caregivers and your school. 

Costs
Fees-free for learners. Upon successful application your school will pay UCOL a fee.

 Additional Costs

You'll need to bring a pen, paper and your lunch to your UCOL Star classes. Some courses held in a workshop environment may require steel capped boots. Students undertaking beauty programmes must dress appropriately for the beauty industry.
