UCOL Council are calling for nominations of members of the community who have demonstrated an outstanding and noteworthy contribution to the well-being and benefit to society.

The UCOL Council Honours Awards are now open and are the highest honorary award available at UCOL. The awards allow the UCOL Council to recognise the contribution of the community and staff.

UCOL Council Chair, Malcolm Inglis is encouraging everybody to nominate.

“There are so many people in our community that are constantly giving back and having such a strong influence in our society. It is very important that we acknowledge and show them as our role models to not only our UCOL students but the younger generation and the rest of our community.”

The awards are separated into three different categories; Honorary fellow, Honorary associate and the Institutional Medal. To find out more information and to nominate somebody who you think would be worthy for this award see Honours Awards on UCOL's website.

Nominations will close on the 29th of September and are announced at the start of the academic year. The recipients will be awarded at the UCOL graduation ceremonies.
