UCOL suspends the collection of testamurs for Horowhenua and Wairarapa
In light of the COVD-19 situation and in the interest of public health, UCOL has now had to suspend the collection of testamurs. These will instead be mailed to you, along with a graduation programme.
We’re disappointed to have to do this, but we do look forward to organising a celebration for this year’s graduates when it is appropriate to do so.
UCOL Graduations 2020 Cancelled
Following government’s lead, UCOL has regretfully decided to cancel all graduation ceremonies that were planned to start, Tuesday 17 March 2020.
We did not make this decision lightly. Celebrating our graduates’ success is a key moment of our calendar. However, by limiting large gatherings, given the current situation in New Zealand and globally, we can act in the best interests of the health and safety of our communities.
The completion of a certificate, diploma, or degree represents a great personal commitment and achievement, and the lack of a formal ceremony does not change that. Testamurs and a graduation programme will be posted to graduands. We’re proud of all our graduates, and we look forward to organising a suitable celebration in the future when the situation has changed.
We wish you every success in the future and look forward to you keeping in touch as UCOL Alumni. Register as UCOL Alumni and follow our LinkedIn page.
