 Course Hours & Duration

Delivered in Palmerston North from 9am – 3pm on Wednesdays in term 3.

 Course Information

This programme comprises of 11 credits:
 
Unit Standard 27457 (Level 3) (Version 4) (6 Credits)
Describe the anatomy and physiology of systems and associated organs of the human body.

Unit Standard 6400 (Level 3) (Version 7) (2 Credits)
Manage first aid in an emergency situation.

Unit Standard 6401 (Level 2) (Version 7) (1 Credits)
Provide first aid.

Unit Standard 6402 (Level 2) (Version 9) (2 Credits)
Provide basic first aid.


 Domestic Entry Requirements

For year 11 - 13 secondary school learners (NZ Citizens, permanent residents or learners with an applicable visa allowing them to be enrolled in a secondary school).

Applications are to be received from participating schools.
