UCOL students to attend class03 March 2014
UCOL students are expected to attend class as usual on Tuesday, 4 March. UCOL Spokesperson Christine Beech confirmed that all campuses will be open for study and learning although some staff may be taking strike action.

The Universal College of Learning (UCOL) Council has announced its Honours Awards to mark the start of the 2014 academic year.

UCOL and TEU representatives met again today. UCOL tabled an offer which included two additional days paid leave in 2014 plus salary increases of up to 2%, conditional upon improved government funding.
TEU did not accept the offer and advised the strike planned for 4 March would continue. TEU confirmed they would discuss the offer with their members in a few weeks time.
UCOL remains open on 4 March and expects students to attend, with minimal disruption.
