Response Time

We’ll reply to your request as soon as possible, and no later than 20 working days after receiving it.  Requests that are complex or involving large amounts of information may take longer, and we may extend the timeframe.  If this happens, we’ll let you know and keep you updated on progress.  You can contact the Office of the Ombudsman if you are unhappy with any delay.

Costs

Requests are free, but large or complex ones may incur a reasonable fee.  We’ll let you know in advance if that applies.  You can challenge any charges by contacting the Office of the Ombudsman.

If You’re Not Satisfied

You can complain to the Ombudsman if you:

  • Disagree with withheld information

  • Are unhappy with delays or fees

  • Believe your request was mishandled
