What is an alumni?
  • Alumni are graduates or former staff from UCOL, Palmerston North Technical School, Palmerston North Technical Institute, Manawatu Polytechnic, Wairarapa Regional Polytechnic, Wanganui Regional Community Polytechnic, or has been awarded a council honor or award.
  • Or they have completed Short Courses or Professional Development through UCOL
 
Definition of Friends 

UCOL graduates automatically become alumni at the time of graduation, but all members of the UCOL community may join the wider alumni community including but not limited to:-

  • current students
  • studied at UCOL but did not complete
  • study abroad and exchange students
  • employers and industry partners
  • friends and supporters of UCOL

How much does it cost?
It’s FREE to join and become a UCOL alumni

What do I get for being an alumni?
Opportunities include having access to on-going knowledge and advice from our talented staff, opportunities to share your experiences, having UCOL assist you to maintain and grow your skills as your career develops, invites to events and networking.

How do I sign up?
You already are,all you need to do is keep your details up-to-date so we can let you know about the latest invitations to events, what’s happening at UCOL, where your former classmates and lecturers are and other news.

How do I get involved?
Its easy – get in touch and let us know how you would like to be involved. We love feedback so if you have any ideas about what you would like to see as part of the UCOL Alumni Program please share them
