U-Skills STAR Defence Pathways Taster

This express introduction to the foundation level programme is aimed to help develop an understanding of the knowledge, skills, attributes and attitudes needed to be a member of New Zealand's Defence Force. This will include an attempt at some of the required physical entry standards.

Monday, 9am - 3pm

For year 11 - 13 secondary school learners (NZ Citizens, permanent residents or learners with an applicable visa allowing them to be enrolled in a secondary school).

Applications are to be received from participating schools.

Fees-free for learners. Upon successful application your school will pay UCOL a fee.

There are no additional costs associated with this taster. Simply, bring a pen, paper and your lunch each week.
