This structured pathway recognises three academic levels: Academic Staff Member (ASM), Senior Academic Staff Member (SASM), and Principal Academic Staff Member (PASM). Progression is based on clear evidence of demonstrated and sustained capability, reflecting the expertise, contribution, and impact of our educators.
Academic promotion is more than a title—it recognises excellence in teaching and learning, commitment to continuous improvement, and leadership within UCOL and the wider community.
