Manage first aid in an emergency situation.
Unit Standard 6401 (Level 2) (Version 7) (1 Credit)
Provide first aid.
Unit Standard 6402 (Level 1) (Version 9) (2 Credits)
Provide basic life support.
Unit Standard 1734 (Level 3) (Version 8) (5 Credits)
Demonstrate knowledge of stress, health and fatigue for driving.
Unit Standard 16718 (Level 3) (Version 7) (5 Credits)
Demonstrate and apply knowledge of law and practice for the transport of Dangerous Goods by road.
Unit Standard 17459 (Level 3) (Version 9) (3 Credits)
Demonstrate and apply knowledge of safe manual handling practices in the workplace.

Carry out pre-start vehicle checks on a heavy motor vehicle, prepare vehicle for use, and shut it down.

Domestic Entry Requirements
For year 12 - 13 secondary school learners (NZ Citizens, permanent residents or learners with an applicable visa allowing them to be enrolled in a secondary school), aged 16 years or over.
Applications are to be received from participating schools.
Must have a minimum of a class 1 Learners Drivers Licence to be eligible to enrol.
