U-Skills STAR Beauty Taster

This Taster will teach you beauty therapy techniques and give you insight into the beauty industry. You will gain knowledge about the history of beauty therapy and how fashion trends relate to modern practices in a fun practical setting.

For year 11 - 13 secondary school learners (NZ Citizens, permanent residents or learners with an applicable visa allowing them to be enrolled in a secondary school).

Applications are to be received from participating schools.

• U-Skills Academy Hair, Beauty and Retail

• U-Skills Academy 2 Day New Zealand Certificate in Salon Skills (Introductory) Level 2

• New Zealand Certificate in Beauty Therapy

• New Zealand Certificate in Nail Technology
