The UCOL STAR YES Business Opportunities course is offered in conjunction with the Lion Foundation Young Entrepreneur Scheme. This learning environment that will help you develop your interpersonal skills and business knowledge.

Successful completion of the UCOL STAR YES Business Opportunities course is the first step in a journey. Equipped with new skills and a taste for the industry, you will know what you need to do to pursue a career in business. If this is for you, you can undertake further tertiary studies in:

  • Academy Business Enterprise Level 3
  • New Zealand Certificate in Business (Introduction to Small Businesses) Level 3

 STAR YES Business Opportunities course consists of 3 credits.

For year 11 - 13 secondary school learners (NZ Citizens, permanent residents or learners with an applicable visa allowing them to be enrolled in a secondary school).

Applications are to be received from participating schools.
