Overview
This course is designed to develop skills and attitudes to help you be successful in tertiary study. These will include time management and organisational skills, learn about different types of assessments and how to interpret an assignment brief. You will also cover numeracy skills that are subject specific and have the opportunity to develop your digital literacy skills including the use of an online learning platform.
Course Hours
This programme runs for 10 weeks.
Per week, your learning will include 2 hours of class time.
Timings are:
Palmerston North
Starting 10 Sept 2026: Thursdays, 1 - 3pm
Whanganui
Starting 15 Sep 2026: Tuesdays evenings, 5:30 - 7:30pm
