U-Skills STAR Information Technology Taster

This taster gives you the opportunity to complete practical activities to experience working with the Internet of Things and Artificial Intelligence to build a working system.

Delivered from 9am - 3pm.

For year 10 - 13 secondary school learners (NZ Citizens, permanent residents or learners with an applicable visa allowing them to be enrolled in a secondary school). Applications are to be received from participating schools.

This STAR Taster is the first step in exploring this career pathway which can lead to further tertiary studies in:

• U-Skills Academy ICT Innovation (Level 3)

This STAR Taster is offered by UCOL to secondary learners seeking to explore their career options while still in school.

Costs

Fees-free for learners. Upon successful application, your school will pay UCOL a fee.

There are no additional costs for this taster. Simply bring pen, paper and your lunch, along with closed shoes and tie your hair back if below your ears.
