Are you interested in writing or performing music? If so, the UCOL STAR Music course could be for you. You'll work as a team to write, record and perform a song in the UCOL purpose-built music studios.

How to apply

If you're interested in applying for the UCOL STAR Music course, talk to your careers advisor at school. Application is arranged in partnership with your parents/caregivers and your school.

Dedicated recording and editing studios.

For year 11 - 13 secondary school learners (NZ Citizens, permanent residents or learners with an applicable visa allowing them to be enrolled in a secondary school).

Applications are to be received from participating schools.

Learners must have experience with vocals and/or an instrument.

Fees-free for learners. Upon successful application, your school will pay UCOL a fee.
